Brass Academy – composition workshops with Ensemble Musikfabrik

On 10–11 March 2026, a unique artistic and educational event was organised as part of the Brass Academy with the participation of the outstanding Ensemble Musikfabrik – one of Europe's most highly regarded ensembles specialising in contemporary music.

On 10–11 March 2026, a unique artistic and educational event was organised as part of the Brass Academy, featuring the outstanding Ensemble Musikfabrik – one of Europe's most highly regarded ensembles specialising in contemporary music.

The first day featured a concert presenting the repertoire prepared by the musicians of Ensemble Musikfabrik. The event was an opportunity to meet the most outstanding interpreters of contemporary music and to learn about contemporary sound possibilities.

11 March 2026 (Wednesday), 11:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Composition workshops
Room 102E

On the second day, there were composition workshops during which participants had the opportunity to work directly with musicians from Ensemble Musikfabrik, working on their own compositions and jointly analysing and discussing issues related to composition, interpretation and performance. The workshops provided a unique space for the exchange of experiences between composers and performers specialising in contemporary music.
