dr hab. Zbigniew Faryniarz - last respect
It is with deep sadness and regret that we announce the passing on May 14, 2026, of the late dr hab. Zbigniew Faryniarz, a highly regarded concert pianist and distinguished academic.
A graduate of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where he studied piano under Prof. Włodzimierz Obidowicz, he remained affiliated with his alma mater from 1981 onward, teaching piano as a professor and educating and inspiring successive generations of young artists.
He will remain in our memory as a tireless promoter of musical art and the author of scholarly works, including “Ways of Coping with Stage Fright.” Since 2001, he served as vice president of the Ferenc Liszt Society, actively participating in the musical and cultural life of the community. In the person of Professor Zbigniew Faryniarz, the Wrocław music community bids farewell to an outstanding artist, a dedicated teacher, a mentor to young people, and above all, a man of great heart and cheerfulness.
We extend our deepest condolences to the wife, family and loved ones of the deceased.
