Piotr Alexewicz in the second stage of the Chopin Competition

Piotr Alexewicz, MA – a graduate and currently a teacher at AMKL – has qualified for the second stage of the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition.

Our University's lecturer, Piotr Alexewicz, MA, has qualified for the second stage of the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition. The jury, chaired by Garrick Ohlsson, admitted 40 pianists to the second stage. Four pianists from Poland qualified for the second stage: Piotr Alexewicz, Adam Kałduński, Piotr Pawlak and Yehuda Prokopowicz. The next stage of the competition will begin on 9 October 2025 and will last until 12 October 2025.
