Release of the album “Pulsar”

The release of the debut album “PULSAR” by Amelia Salloum—a sophomore in the undergraduate program in the percussion class taught by Prof. Jacek Wota and MA Bartłomiej Dudek, and one of the most distinctive figures among the younger generation of Polish drummers.

“PULSAR” is an exceptionally personal and conscious artistic project in which the drums become the language of the narrative—full of color, emotion, tension, and space. The album features contemporary compositions by Polish composers for solo percussion and string orchestra, including pieces written specifically for the artist and recorded for the first time on this album.

The recordings feature the Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra under the baton of Piotr Artur Wolanin. The Center for Artistic Education is the honorary patron of the “Pulsar” album release project.

We warmly congratulate Amelia on this exceptional debut and thank everyone who contributed to the creation of the album—composers, musicians, educators, producers, and project partners. We also extend special recognition to Prof. Andrzej Waloszczyk for his artistic support and for co-creating this musical journey.

We wish Amelia many more inspiring projects, artistic successes, and future wonderful releases!
