Student Artistic and Scientific Society of Choral Conducting

The Student Artistic and Scientific Society of Choral Conducting (abbreviated as SKANDCh) operates within the Department of Choral Studies and Ensemble Conducting at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.

The Society brings together students of choral conducting, as well as students of other specialisations and degree programmes who wish to deepen their knowledge in this field.

The primary goal of the Society is to integrate the community of choral conductors studying at AMKL by creating a space for mutual cooperation, exchange of ideas, and sharing of experiences.

Among the most important activities of the Society are the organisation of meetings with conductors, thematic workshops (focusing on conducting technique and healthy vocal production), as well as joint study trips to open rehearsals at cultural institutions, aimed at familiarising students with the working methods of various conductors.
