Student Scientific Society of Music Therapy
The activity of the Student Scientific Society of Music Therapy constitutes an important element in the development of future music therapists, enabling them to combine theoretical knowledge with practice and to build professional experience already during their studies. The Society brings together students of music therapy who wish to broaden their skills, develop their passion, and inspire one another through joint academic, workshop-based, and social activities.
The activities of the Society are based on cooperation with numerous therapeutic, educational, and cultural institutions, where its members conduct music therapy workshops for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Thanks to this cooperation, students have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience while simultaneously promoting the idea of music therapy and supporting local communities.
In the 2025/2026 academic year, particular emphasis will be placed on building a shared space for cooperation and support, where students from all years of music therapy studies can meet, exchange experiences, motivate one another, and create together. The Society aims to be a space for both personal and professional development.
In the coming year, new workshop initiatives are planned, along with the continuation of events integrating the community of music therapy students, such as the annual celebrations of the European Music Therapy Day. A particularly important event in the calendar will be the 12th National Congress of Music Therapy Students.
