Concert to Celebrate the Science Day in Wrocław - November 14, 2023
The Concert to Commemorate the Science Day in Wrocław took place on November 14, 2023, in the Main Hall of the National Forum of Music. The event became a celebration of the city's entire academic community and a significant landmark on the cultural map of Wrocław. The concert featured outstanding soloists – Piotr Alexewicz, semi-finalist of the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, the renowned violinist and teacher Jacek Ropski, soprano Joanna Zawartko, and baritone Mariusz Godlewski. They were accompanied by students from the Academic Symphony Orchestra, as well as the combined academic choirs of Wrocław. The concert was conducted by Maestro Bassem Akiki.
