National InterConference "Musica Tertii Millenii"
On April 9-10, 2025, the National InterConference "Musica Tertii Millenii" took place at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. The event became an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas on music of the third millennium and a platform for presenting new directions and trends in 21st-century music. The passing of a quarter-century also symbolically encourages reflection on recent achievements in art and allows us to view them from a different, fresh perspective.
The conference is part of the project "Quo vadis, musica? – between mission and duty in the context of the third millennium," co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund, a state-funded special-purpose fund.
"Quo vadis, musica? – between mission and duty in the context of the third millennium" – a two-year project (2024-2025) encompassing the organization of a series of conferences in the field of musical art, united by the theme of the mission and duties of the musician and educator in the contemporary world. The aim of the series is to address these issues, with particular emphasis on the creative process and music education in the context of music in the third millennium.
