Random Check 7: Time Crystals - opening

On May 8, 2025, the KAF Digital Space at the Krupa Art Foundation hosted the opening of the latest edition of the audiovisual project Random Check, titled Time Crystals. It was an evening of intense visual and audio experiences, bringing together a large group of enthusiasts of contemporary art, digital media, and experimental forms of artistic expression.

The Random Check project is a recurring multimedia initiative, realized in collaboration with students, graduates, and faculty of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music and the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. Previous editions have been presented at venues including the prestigious "Warsaw Autumn" International Festival of Contemporary Music.

This year's seventh edition, titled Time Crystals, draws inspiration from the concept of time crystals – a theoretical phenomenon described by Nobel Prize winner Frank Wilczek. The artists explore the phenomena of cyclicality and change in time, translating them into the language of contemporary media and new technologies.

The exhibition will be on view from May 8–31, 2025, at the KAF Digital Space (ul. Księcia Witolda 62).
