The ceremonial inauguration of the 2025/2026 academic year of the Art Universities of Wrocław
On October 6, 2025, the Inauguration Ceremony of the 2025/2026 Academic Year of Wrocław's Art Academies took place in the Aula Leopoldina of the University of Wrocław: the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, and the Stanisław Wyspiański Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków – Wrocław Branch.
The joint event of Wrocław's three art schools provided an opportunity to symbolically begin a new year of learning, creativity, and collaboration within the Wrocław artistic community. Below is a list of the academics and staff of our university who received these awards:

A significant highlight of the program was the matriculation of first-year students at three art schools in Wrocław, which included the taking of an oath and the presentation of congratulatory letters.
During the ceremony, diplomas with distinction were also awarded to graduates from the past academic year.
The inaugural lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. hab. Eng. Tomasz Kajdanowicz from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, who presented a paper entitled "Generative Artificial Intelligence – The Problematic Art of Matrix Multiplication." The event concluded with the academic anthem "Gaudeamus igitur" – a symbolic moment that emphasized the unity and cooperation of Wrocław's art academy community.
