Ceremonial promotion of doctors and habilitated doctors of art from art universities in Wrocław 2025

On May 5, 2025, the Leopoldina Hall of the University of Wrocław hosted the Ceremonial Ceremony of Graduating Doctors and Postdoctoral Degrees in Art from Wrocław's art schools.

The following persons received their Doctor of Arts diplomas in the field of art, specializing in musical arts:

Dr. Olivia Kaczyńska,

Dr. Malwina Kotz,

Dr. Sonia Markiewicz,

Dr. Krzysztof Rau - doctoral dissertation with distinction,

Dr. Katarzyna Szydłowska.

The ceremony was honored with a performance by a talented student from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. We listened to Paweł Szlachta, a countertenor, accompanied by Aleksandra Orłukowicz on the piano. The artists presented Stephano's aria "Que fais-tu blanche tourterelle" from Charles Gounod's opera "Romeo et Juliette," "Liebestreu" (Faithful to Love) from the cycle "Six Songs" by Johannes Brahms, and Arsaces' aria "Ah! Quel giorno ognor rammento" from Gioacchino Rossini's opera "Semiramide."

The musical accompaniment of the event was completed by the Chamber Choir of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, conducted by Kacper Kubiak.
