Away meeting of the Education, Science and Youth Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland at the Academy of Music in Wrocław on April 20, 2023.

On April 20-21, 2023, P.T. members of the Education, Science and Youth Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland visited Wrocław's art schools. As part of the visit, on April 20 this year, an away plenary meeting of the Education, Science and Youth Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland was held at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. The meeting was attended by: Mr. Wojciech Murdzek, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Education and Science, Government Plenipotentiary for the reform of the functioning of research institutes, Mr. Jarosław Wartak, Director of the Department of Artistic Education at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, His Magnificence prof. dr hab. Wojciech Pukocz, Rector of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, His Magnificence prof. dr hab. Krystian Kiełb, Rector of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław and Prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Czaplińska-Mrozek, Vice-Rector for the Wrocław Branch of the Stanisław Wyspiański Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków. The meeting focused on the organization and operation of art schools, including the procedures for conducting studies within art programs, the financing of art schools, mechanisms for ensuring the quality of education, investment needs, and the challenges facing art schools.
