MA Bartłomiej Dudek

Born in Wrocław. In 2009, he graduated from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław with a master's degree in percussion under Prof. Jacek Wota.
He is a soloist with the percussion section of the Wrocław Opera Orchestra, a member of the percussion quartet Repercussion, and a percussion teacher at the Primary and Secondary Music School in Wrocław and the State Music School in Oława. Since 2015, he has been a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Wrocław, where he teaches orchestral studies, orchestral instruments and chamber music at the Instrumental Department, specialising in percussion instruments.
In 2005, at the Berlin Konzerthaus, he gave the German premiere of Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil's concerto for percussion and symphony orchestra, Le Soleil, which was followed by the release of a CD.
He has a very busy performing schedule.
As an orchestral musician, he performs over a hundred concerts a year. As a chamber musician, together with Poland's only permanent percussion quartet, Repercussion, he presents works ranging from ethnic music to blues and jazz, compositions from the field of contemporary classical music and broadly understood ‘instrumental theatre’. Since 2023, he and his ensemble have been collaborating with the renowned percussion instrument manufacturer Bergerault.
He collaborates with the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, the NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, the Lower Silesian Philharmonic, the Sudeten Philharmonic, the Zielona Góra Philharmonic, the Kalisz Philharmonic and the Płock Symphony Orchestra.
He has made several dozen recordings of symphonic, opera and chamber music. He is invited to sit on the jury of international competitions and to give lectures and masterclasses. He is the author of educational and chamber percussion literature. In January 2019, his composition for percussion quartet, ‘4 cajons’, had its world premiere at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław.
