music therapy in oncology, practice in music therapy for children with developmental disorders
Graduate of bachelor's and master's degree programmes in music therapy at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. Music therapist, instructor of logorhythmic classes and Social Skills Training at the Sensory Bridge Non-Public Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic in Ślęza, as well as a teacher at the Janusz Korczak School and Kindergarten Complex in Wysoka. Editor and co-author of the website Dotyk Muzyki, which promotes knowledge related to music therapy and music education. She has expanded her experience through numerous training courses and workshops, as well as by conducting music therapy workshops and classes. Her interests include typhlomusicotherapy, the use of music therapy in early childhood development and in oncological diseases, as well as education through art, i.e. incorporating elements of visual and musical arts into the educational process.
She is the author of articles on music therapy in scientific journals (including Kryteria wyboru utworów muzycznych wykorzystywanych w muzykoterapii [Criteria for selecting musical works used in music therapy] in Kwartalnik Młodych Muzykologów [Quarterly Journal of Young Musicologists]). She is the originator of the first music therapy app for children with visual impairments (Muzyczny GPS [Musical GPS]).
Since October 2024, she has been conducting music therapy practices for children with developmental disorders and music therapy in oncology at the Music Therapy Department.
