MA Joanna Kołodziejska
theoretical and musical subjects (music therapy), criticism and lectures, music journalism
Music theorist, graduate of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław (2017, diploma with honours) and postgraduate studies in Music in Media at Collegium Civitas (2018). She is currently a PhD student in music theory at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice (supervisor: Dr. Marcin Trzęsiok, Prof. AM).
Her academic work focuses primarily on the relationship between music and media, with particular emphasis on compositional works for radio, including music for radio plays, radio operas and radio oratorios. Her academic articles have been published in AMKL publications, the University of Szczecin, and the journals Edukacja Muzyczna and Scontri. She has participated in numerous national and international academic conferences in Wrocław, Warsaw, Poznań, Gdańsk, Łódź, Kraków and Szczecin.
She is active as a journalist and lecturer – since 2019, she has been a regular reviewer for the magazine Ruch Muzyczny. Her articles have also been published in Muzyka w Mieście and MEAKULTURA. Since her studies, she has been working with the editorial team of Akademickie Radio Luz, a radio station operating at the Wrocław University of Technology. She has conducted numerous concerts, including for the Lower Silesian Music Salons and the Lower Silesian Fryderyk Chopin Society in Wrocław.
Since 2017, she has been lecturing at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, teaching subjects such as criticism and lecturing, music journalism, music and media. She has also worked as a teacher of theoretical subjects at the F. Chopin Primary Music School in Kłodzko and the Secondary Music School in Bystrzyca Kłodzka.
