Clarinetist, chamber musician, and teacher.
Lecturer at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław and soloist with the Zielona Góra Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. Co-founder of the Reed Connection reed trio (www.reedconnection.eu), with which he performs in Poland and abroad. Last fall, the ensemble released its second album, Zielona Góra Musica Nova, featuring works by contemporary composers associated with Zielona Góra. In 2024, the ensemble was awarded a Bronze Diploma at the 4th International Music Eagles Competition.
Jarosław Podsiadlik graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Wrocław in the class of Prof. Mieczysław Stachura and completed postgraduate studies at the Vienna Conservatory of Music. He has collaborated with many orchestras, including in Poland, Austria, the USA, and Germany, performing under the baton of such renowned conductors as Daniel Barenboim, Yakov Kreizberg, Larry Livingstone, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Bobby McFerrin, Kurt Masur, Krzysztof Penderecki, and Antoni Witt.
He has made numerous recordings for radio and television, as well as music for film and television productions. As a soloist, together with Luisa Albrechtova (soprano) and accompanied by the Morphing Chamber Orchestra from Vienna, he took part in the world premiere of works attributed to W.A. Mozart, found in the archives at Jasna Góra in Częstochowa. The concert took place on December 6, 2008, at the Jasna Góra Basilica and was recorded by TVP S.A.
Jarosław Podsiadlik is actively involved in teaching and performing, appearing as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe, Japan, and the USA.
