prof. dr hab. Waldemar Korpak

Graduate of the State Higher School of Music in Wrocław, where he studied under Karel Fiala (graduating with distinction). He is Principal Oboist of the Wrocław Philharmonic and collaborates with the “Leopoldinum” and “Wratislavia” chamber orchestras. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed in Poland and abroad, including in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Russia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, and the USA. He has appeared at international festivals, including Bayreuth, Salzburg, Łańcut, and Gdańsk.

He has made numerous recordings for radio, television, and film. He regularly serves as a jury member in competitions for young instrumentalists in Poland and abroad. He is currently Professor at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.
