MA Bartłomiej Dudek

Born in Wrocław. He graduated in 2009 from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in the percussion class of Professor Jacek Wota. He is principal percussionist of the Wrocław Opera Orchestra, member of the percussion quartet “Repercussion,” and teaches percussion at the Karol Szymanowski Music School in Wrocław and the State Music School in Oława. Since 2015, he has been a lecturer at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music, teaching orchestral studies, orchestral instruments, and chamber music.
In 2005, he performed the German premiere of Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil’s percussion concerto Le Soleil at the Konzerthaus Berlin, later released on CD. As an orchestral musician, he performs over 100 concerts annually. With “Repercussion,” the only permanently active percussion quartet in Poland, he presents repertoire ranging from ethnic music, jazz, and blues to contemporary classical works and instrumental theatre.
Since 2023, the ensemble has collaborated with the renowned percussion instrument manufacturer Bergerault. He also performs with the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, and several Polish philharmonic orchestras.
He has made numerous symphonic, operatic, and chamber recordings, serves on international competition juries, and leads masterclasses. He is the author of educational and chamber percussion literature. His work 4 Cajons for percussion quartet premiered at the National Forum of Music in 2019.
