PhD Adam Wolny

He began his education in French horn performance at the State Secondary Music School in Jelenia Góra in the class of Ryszard Kurzak, MA. In 1989, he graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the French horn class of senior lecturer Mieczysław Korcz.
From 1989 to 2017, he was the principal horn player at the Wrocław Opera, and since 1994 he has been the principal horn player at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław. With this orchestra, he has taken part in numerous tours in Europe, South America, and Asia, performing in many concert halls and participating in music festivals. As an orchestral musician, he has participated in the recording of many CDs and DVDs for Polish and foreign record labels.
In 2001, he began teaching at the Ryszard Bukowski Secondary Music School in Wrocław, and since 2002 he has been a horn teacher at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.
He has collaborated with many orchestras and chamber ensembles, including Wratislavia, Leopoldinum in Wrocław, Poznań Philharmonic, Jelenia Góra Philharmonic, the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio in Poznań, the Sudeten Philharmonic, Sinfonia Helvetica in Switzerland, the Chamber Opera in Warsaw, the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, and the Silesian Chamber Orchestra.
