PhD Jan Kubica

He is a graduate of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, which he completed with distinction in the class of Professor Włodzimierz Obidowicz. He also completed Postgraduate Master Studies at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw. He won first prizes in the university competitions dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach and Karol Szymanowski, and is also a laureate of the competition for the artistic scholarship of the Fryderyk Chopin Society in Warsaw. He participated in the Polish Piano Festival in Słupsk, the Queen Elisabeth International Competition in Brussels, the “Jeunesses Musicales” Competition in Belgrade, and the “Boesendorfer Empire” Competition in Brussels.

He has recorded for radio and television, appearing, among others, in the TV program Salon Muzyczny. He is also a composer and performer of film and television music. For many years, he has been teaching piano at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.
