prof. dr hab. Jan Tatarczyk

Since graduating from the State Higher School of Music in Wrocław in 1980 (diploma with distinction, teacher: Michał Nikonow), he has taught clarinet at the Wrocław Academy of Music.

While still a student, he won awards at competitions in Włoszakowice, Włocławek, and Wrocław. His students include laureates of national and international competitions. He has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician. For years, he has been principal clarinetist of the Witold Lutosławski Philharmonic in Wrocław. He has collaborated with the Sinfonia Varsovia and Menuhin Festival Orchestras.
