Wroclaw pianist and teacher, laureate and juror of piano competitions, title professor. In 1999 he graduated with honors from the Wrocław Music Academy, educating under the guidance of prof. Grzegorz Kurzyński. Paweł Zawadzki runs piano classes at the 1st and second degree Music School of Karol Szymanowski and the Music Academy Karol Lipiński in Wrocław. He performed at the philharmonic stages, performing piano concerts under the baton of conductors such as: Tadeusz Strugała, Marek Pijarowski, Jacek Kaspszyk, Tadeusz Wojciechowski, Szymon Makowski, Wojciech Rodek, Eugene Tzigane, Giancarlo de Lorenzo, Kai Baumann, Lee Hong-Jin Vasiliev, Massimiliano Caldi, Juan Cantarell. He toured in Germany, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Turkey, Finland, Denmark, Scotland, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Belarus, South Korea and Australia. The pianist made numerous recordings for radio and television, and in the phonographic field he has released compact records with works by Fryderyk Chopin and Franciszek Liszt recorded for Selene. As a consultant of the Art Education Center, he runs piano courses for music school students. He is also a lecturer in master piano courses, including in Krynica-Zdrój, Opole and Łańcut. Paweł Zawadzki conducts lively pedagogical activities. His students and students have won several dozen awards at significant international and national piano competitions. They are winners of competitions whose task is to strengthen the positive image of Poland in the world, including Young promoter of Poland, as well as scholarship holders of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Young Poland scholarship program, the Mayor of Wrocław. In 2011, the pianist initiated the establishment of the Lower Silesian Society Fryderyk Chopin in Wrocław (in 2011-2020 he was the president of DTiFC). Paweł Zawadzki's artistic and didactic activity was appreciated by many awards of the Director of the Art Education Center in Warsaw for a special contribution to the development of artistic education in Poland. The pianist was honored with a distinguished award for Polish culture. In 2022, he received the prestigious annual award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the field of artistic education for outstanding achievements in the pedagogical and art field. By decision of the President of the Republic of Poland, he was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit (2016) and the Golden Cross of Merit (2024). Currently, he is the head of the Piano Department of the Music Academy Karol Lipiński in Wrocław.
