trombone
He is the principal trombonist of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice and one of Poland's leading trombonists. He took his first trombone lesson at the age of 14.
In 2007, he graduated from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where he studied trombone under Michał Mazurkiewicz. He has won numerous international solo and chamber music competitions, including in Warsaw, Katowice, Dąbrowa Górnicza and Gdańsk. He has performed as a soloist with many orchestras in Poland.
He has made archival recordings of Kazimierz Serocki's Sonatina and Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra, as well as Witold Friemann's Concerto for Trombone with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. He is an active chamber musician, performing with Sinfonia Varsovia Brass and the Polish Brass Quintet.
Since 2008, he has been a lecturer in trombone and chamber music at the Academy of Music in Wrocław, where he obtained his postdoctoral degree in musical arts in 2019.
