She graduated from the Karol Lipiński State Music School in Lublin, where she studied piano with Prof. Tamara Bogdanowska. She then went on to study piano at the State Higher School of Music in Wrocław with Prof. Włodzimierz Obidowicz, graduating in 1979. She is a two-time scholarship holder of the Fryderyk Chopin Society in Warsaw and a laureate of the Piano Festival in Słupsk in the “Estrada Młodych” (Young Stage) competition. Immediately after her studies, she was employed as a chamber pianist at the Vocal and Acting Department, and after a year also at the Instrumental Department, working with teachers of flute, cello, violin, percussion, and viola. In the field of teaching, she conducts classes in chamber ensemble and accompaniment. Working since 1979 at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, she was awarded the title of professor in December 2002. Since 2005, she has been the head of the Chamber Music Department at her alma mater. She held this position until 2020.

Throughout her life, she has performed nearly 1,000 concerts in Poland and other European countries. She has conducted numerous workshops and chamber music courses at primary and secondary music schools for children, young people, and teachers, as well as for students at music academies (Poznań, Kraków). She has participated in the jury of chamber music competitions. Her students have won several awards in national competitions (Bytom, Rybnik, Toruń, Warsaw, Łódź, Jawor) and international competitions (Italy, Czech Republic, Ukraine). Two of her piano chamber music graduates, now holding doctoral degrees: Dr. Marzena Szczepańska-Batler and Dr. Justyna Skoczek, are active as chamber pianists at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.

She has partnered as a pianist with many distinguished musicians, such as Jadwiga Kotnowska, Urszula Janik, Jerzy Mrozik, Lidia Grzanka-Urbaniak, Stefan Kamasa, Zbigniew Czarnota, Michał Micker, Eugeniusz Sąsiadek, Piotr Łykowski, Henryka Januszewska, Barbara Werner, Ewa Czermak, Bogdan Makal and many others. She has performed at several international festivals, such as Wratislavia Cantans, Polish Contemporary Music, EUROSILESIA and Musica Polonica Nova. She is a promoter of several doctoral theses, a reviewer of doctoral theses, habilitation and professorial proceedings. In addition, she is the initiator and organizer of a series of thematic concerts entitled “FACES OF EUROPEAN MUSIC,” held at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, seven nationwide artistic and scientific sessions with diverse themes, as well as a series of concerts entitled “Mikołajkowe Niespodzianki” (St. Nicholas' Surprises), which integrates the Wrocław music community and involves first and second level music schools in Wrocław. On her initiative, an Academic Chamber Ensemble Competition for Piano Trios and String Quartets has been running for several years. The enormous interest in this project among the academic community gave rise to a new project - the participation of other formations in the competition, such as instrumental trios, quartets and quintets.

Her life is a series of various projects and challenges, but above all, a love of chamber music, although she has also performed solo and with the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław (Maurice Ravel – Piano Concerto in G major, Ludwig van Beethoven – Triple Concerto in C major).

For her artistic and pedagogical activities, she has received several diplomas of recognition, an honorary badge for her contribution to the promotion and dissemination of culture in Poland, and a diploma from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for her special contribution to the development of Polish art education. In October 2018, she was awarded the bronze medal “GLORIA ARTIS”.

In 2016-2020, she served as Vice-Dean of the Instrumental Department at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.
