She graduated with distinction in music theory from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. In 1987 she began her teaching career at her alma mater. She is currently a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Music Education. Between 1984 and 2000 she was employed as a teacher of theoretical subjects at the Ryszard Bukowski State Secondary School of Music in Wrocław. She also pursued artistic activity as a member of the chamber vocal ensemble Cantores Minores Wratislavienses (1984–2003) as well as other Wrocław choral ensembles.

She has published several articles devoted to the compositional and journalistic output of Ryszard Bukowski. She is the author of a monographic study on the Ryszard Bukowski State Secondary School of Music in Wrocław (1997). Between 1998 and 2003 she was editor-in-chief of the Academy’s periodical Gama, as well as the author of numerous articles published in this journal concerning the musical life of the Academy and of Wrocław. Since 2002 she has been engaged in editing scholarly works published by the Wrocław Academy of Music Press. In 2005 she completed with distinction her Postgraduate Publishing Studies at the Institute of Polish Philology of the University of Wrocław. She has often appeared as a music lecturer at concerts organized by the State Secondary School of Music, the Academy of Music in Wrocław, and the Ferenc Liszt Society.

From 2012 to 2016 she served as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Music Education.
