The NFM Girls' Choir, conducted by Dr. Małgorzata Dzielny, a professor at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, was awarded at the Orchid Choir Festivals.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Aleksander Jan Kobus – lecturer at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław – has been selected as one of the recipients of the scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young researchers (2025 edition).

The scholarship is awarded to individuals conducting research activity at the highest level – for significant achievements and contributions to the development of their discipline. In this year’s edition of the competition (SMN20), 228 laureates were selected from among 1,711 applications, representing all scientific and artistic disciplines. The scholarship is awarded for a period of three years.

We warmly congratulate Dr Aleksander Kobus on this distinction, which is a recognition of his artistic and scholarly work in the field of musical arts.

The Cliburn is one of the most renowned piano competitions in the world. It takes place every four years and attracts the finest young pianists from across the globe.
