We extend our warmest congratulations to dr hab. Waldemar Gromolak, whose work was recognized at the 1st International Chamber Music Competition KraCamera 2026 (online edition), where his Guitar Duet composed of Zuzanna Zych and Wojciech Jakubowski won First Prize, and the jury awarded dr hab. Waldemar Gromolak received the title of Best Teacher.

PhD Tomasz Marut won first prize at the 26th Piano FVG 2026 International Piano Competition.

The competition brought together 68 pianists from 21 countries around the world, and only six participants qualified for the final round. PhD Tomasz Marut impressed the jury both during the solo rounds—receiving a special prize for the best performance of a contemporary piece for his interpretation of Lowell Liebermann’s “Gargoyles”—and in the competition’s grand finale.

In addition to the first prize in the competition, he also received several special awards, including the CEI (Central European Initiative) Award and the opportunity to record an album for the KNS Classical label.

We warmly congratulate him on this exceptional achievement and wish him continued artistic success and many wonderful concerts!

During the 6th National Children's Choir Competition "Filii Melodis" the NFM Boys' Choir, under the direction of dr hab. Małgorzata Podzielny, prof. AMKL, won:

• The Grand Prix Award
• The Golden Band in the Children's Choirs under 16 category
• A special award for the best performance of a sacred piece.

In addition, the Professor received the Best Conductor Award.
