Wrocław Piano Trio
The Wrocław Piano Trio, consisting of Katarzyna Schulz – violin, Stanisław Giłka – cello, and Jakub Madyniak – piano, has been awarded three prizes in prestigious competitions:
- Opus 2024 – 3rd Prize
- KraCamera 2024 – 2nd Prize
- MIMA Young Artist Competition – 1st Prize
This outstanding achievement confirms the ensemble’s high artistic level and marks an important step in their musical journey.

Martyna Bacik
We are delighted to share the success of Martyna Bacik, a first-year Master’s student in Vocal Performance, studying under MA Joanna Zawartko-Kołodziej
Martyna took part in the 10th International Vocal Competition "Bella Voce" Busko-Zdrój 2024, where she received two important distinctions:
the Marek Miculski VOX HUMANA Award in memory of Teresa Żylis-Gara, worth 5000 PLN,
as well as a prize in the form of a chamber concert performance during the 2024/2025 artistic season at the Teresa Żylis-Gara Salon in Krynica-Zdrój.
Throughout the competition, Martyna was accompanied at the piano by Mateusz Słowikowski, MA, an alumnus of our Academy from the piano class of Prof. dr hab. Paweł Zawadzki.

Wojciech Jakubowski
We are proud to announce the outstanding achievements of Wojciech Jakubowski, a second-year Bachelor student of classical guitar in the class of Professor Piotr Zaleski, PhD, habil.
Wojciech received top distinctions in two international music competitions: 1st Prize at the International Music Competition OPUS 2024 and 1st Prize at the 10th Szeged Altamira International Guitar Competition.
He continued his success abroad by winning 3rd Prize at the Baltic Guitar Festival Classical Guitar Competition 2024 in Lithuania, where he also received a special jury distinction for the best performance of the compulsory piece.

Paweł Horodyski
We are delighted to announce that Paweł Horodyski, a student in the solo singing class of prof. dr hab. Bogdan Makal, has been awarded in the 2nd edition of the “Young Promoter of Poland” Competition under the Honorary Patronage of the First Lady of the Republic of Poland, in the category of cultural activity.
The award is granted for outstanding achievements in science, culture, or sport, strengthening the positive image of our country.
