Students from the Department of Wind Instruments, Percussion and Accordion were awarded prizes at the Small Forms Competition.

Joanna Łobodzińska, a student in Prof. Jadwiga Kotnowska’s flute class, won first prize.

Daniil Krylovich, a second-year Master’s student in Prof. Ryszard Żołędziewski’s saxophone class, and Marcel Podgórski, a third-year Bachelor’s student in Dr Ewa Mizerska’s flute class, won second prize.

Wiktoria Mrowiec, a first-year Master’s student in Dr Ewa Mizerska’s flute class, and Karolina Słowik, a first-year Bachelor’s student in Dr Ewa Mizerska’s flute class, won third prize.

Honourable mentions were awarded to: Matylda Uszyńska, a third-year undergraduate student in Dr Jarosław Podsiadlik’s clarinet class, and Agnieszka Zemlik, a first-year postgraduate student in Marek Szymański’s flute class.

Three students from the Department of String Instruments were awarded prizes at the Small Forms Competition. Barbara Olearczyk, a second-year Master’s student in Prof. Michał Micker’s viola class, won first prize. Zofia Wlazło, a second-year undergraduate student in the cello class of PhD Tomasz Daroch and PhD Krzysztof Karpeta, received second prize. Wojciech Jakubowski, a first-year postgraduate student in the guitar class of Prof. Piotr Zaleski, won third prize.

Przemysław Kojs, a third-year undergraduate student in the organ class taught by Prof. Piotr Rojek and Jan Surma, MA, has won first prize and a special prize – a solo recital in Paris – at the Nouvelles Etoiles International Competition.

Student naszej Akademii, Maciej Domański został wyróżniony nagrodą Grand Prix w kategorii Kompozycja w IV Międzynarodowym Konkursie im. Gabriela Fauré.
Maciej jest studentem III roku studiów pierwszego stopnia na kierunku Kompozycja, kształci się pod opieką prof. dra hab. Krystiana Kiełba.
