We are proud to announce that Piotr Lara, a second-year master’s student in the piano class of prof. PhD Paweł Zawadzki and PhD Tomasz Marut, has won the Third Prize at the De Girard International Young Pianists Competition!

The event took place on May 24–25, 2025, in Żyrardów, attracting young pianists from Poland and abroad. The auditions were held in the historic Ballroom of the Resursa, where participants had the opportunity to perform on a Shigeru Kawai concert grand piano.

The De Girard International Young Pianists Competition is an international piano contest dedicated to children, young artists, and students up to the age of 23. Renowned for its high artistic standards, it continues to gather more and more talented pianists from around the world each year.
