Majka Bakalarz, Dawid Grenda

Students of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław have been honored in the Young Talents Competition 2025, organized by the Lower Silesian Capital Club.

Awards went to first-year master’s students of the Faculty of Composition, Conducting, Music Theory, and Music Therapy:

Majka Bakalarz, a music therapy student, in the category Achievement in Social Activity

Dawid Grenda, a composition student of Prof. Marcin Bortnowski, in the category Artistic Achievement

The Young Talents Competition is addressed to students and doctoral candidates from universities in Lower Silesia and aims to honor young individuals distinguished in fields such as science, art, innovation, social activity, sport, and entrepreneurship. Participation is not only a mark of distinction but also recognition of achievements to date and an inspiration for further development.

In this year’s edition, the Jury — composed of rectors of Lower Silesian universities, representatives of the organizers, and members of the business and academic communities — nominated a total of 18 candidates.

The award ceremony took place on May 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Aula Leopoldina of the University of Wrocław.

We warmly congratulate Dawid Grenda and Majka Bakalarz, wishing them continued artistic and professional success.
