Graduate of secondary schools in Kalisz: the Piano Building Technical School and the State Secondary Music School (organ class of Kazimierz Madziała). From 1996 to 2004 he studied organ (with Klemens Johannes Kaminski) and harpsichord (with Marta Czarny-Kaczmarska) at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław (AMKL). In addition to his studies and numerous masterclasses, an important influence on his artistic development were study visits to the Netherlands (2008–2010), where he had the opportunity to train on historical instruments under the guidance of Peter van Dijk in Utrecht. After completing doctoral studies at AMKL (with Andrzej Chorosiński and Magdalena Czajka), he obtained his doctoral degree in May 2011, and in November 2019 he received the degree of doktor habilitowany awarded by the Senate of the Academy of Music in Poznań. As a graduate of the Postgraduate Studies in Liturgical Monody at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków (2016–2018), he also cultivates an interest in Gregorian chant. He is titular organist of the Dominican church of St. Adalbert in Wrocław. He works as an assistant professor at his alma mater (Department of Church Music), and as a certified teacher of harpsichord and organ at the General Music School (Primary and Secondary) in Wrocław. He serves as juror at national organ and piano competitions. He has led courses in improvisation and interpretation of organ music in Poland (Cieszyn, Kalisz, Wrocław) and Italy (Verona), as well as lectures on organ music, organology, and Gregorian chant.
He is a regular collaborator of the NFM Symphony Orchestra and other ensembles of this institution. Co-founder and artistic director of the Wrocław early music ensemble Ars Concordiae, and a member of Sanssouci – the baroque ensemble of the Opole Philharmonic. He performs as a soloist (organ, harpsichord) and chamber musician in Poland and abroad. His discography includes over a dozen CDs of organ and chamber music (harpsichord/continuo). He is a member of the Program Council of the Il Canto Foundation, as well as of associations such as Verein zur Erforschung und Erhaltung schlesischer Orgeln e.V., the Association of Polish Church Musicians, and the Society of Enthusiasts and Researchers of the Krotoszyn Region. He serves as curator of the organs of the National Forum of Music and as consultant for organ renovation and revitalization projects in Wrocław churches: St. Joseph (Carmelites) and St. Adalbert (Dominicans). He is a recognized specialist in historical tuning and temperaments (e.g. Wratislavia Cantans, Forum Musicum). Artistic director of the Organ Summer Festival in the Basilica of Krotoszyn and coordinator of the Czesław Evenings concert cycle at the Dominican church in Wrocław.
In 2017 he was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland. He has also received awards as an academic teacher (Rector’s Award of AMKL) and in music education (certificates of the Center for Artistic Education, school director’s awards).
