Graduate of the Academy of Music in Wrocław. Under the guidance of Prof. Zbigniew Faryniarz, he completed his studies in 2003 with the highest distinction, and three years later – also with the highest distinction – finished the Postgraduate Master Studies. He refined his skills at international piano courses, working under the guidance of Professors Andrzej Jasiński, Viktor Mierzhanov and Alexei Orlovetsky.

In 2001, in Słupsk, he became a laureate of the Young Stage of the 35th Polish Piano Festival, and in April 2003, together with a violinist, he was awarded first prize – the “Golden Award” in the category of instrumental performance at the 21st International Spring Festival of Arts in North Korea. In 2001, he took part in the recording of a CD with works by Chopin and Moniuszko. As a soloist in symphonic concerts, a performer of piano recitals, monographic recitals consisting of works by Chopin and Liszt, as well as a chamber musician, he has performed in Germany, Russia, Spain, Italy, and in many cities across Poland. Since 2003 he has been a faculty member of his alma mater. In April 2009 he obtained the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts.

Łukasz Jungowski was twice a scholarship holder of the Authorities of the City of Wrocław.
