A drummer associated with the Wrocław jazz scene since the beginning of his studies at the local Academy of Music in 1999. During his studies, he was a finalist in many competitions and a laureate of several ensemble and individual awards. He has collaborated with a number of leading figures of the Polish jazz scene (Piotr Baron, Piotr Wojtasik, Dominik Bukowski, Piotr Lemańczyk, Krystyna Stańko), performing at most Polish jazz festivals.
Since 2005, he has led his own Yarosh Organ Trio, which he co-founded with Tomasz Pruchnicki (saxophone) and Kajetan Galas (Hammond B3 organ). The group debuted with an album recording in 2016, and their next release, recorded with vocalist Katarzyna Mirowska (Alterakcje), appeared in 2018. The release of another album, recorded with pianist Dominik Wania, was planned for spring 2021.
Since 2005, he has continued his teaching and academic career; in 2014, he earned the title of Doctor of Musical Arts in the discipline of Instrumental Performance. He currently teaches a jazz percussion class at the Faculty of Instrumental Studies of the Academy of Music in Wrocław, as well as a jazz percussion class at the Institute of Music, University of Zielona Góra.
