Dr hab. Anna Rutkowska-Schock, Prof. AMKL, and Ewa Kowalski release the Japan-issued CD “HER JOURNEY: Flute and Piano Works by Women”.

We are pleased to announce the release of the new CD “HER JOURNEY: Flute and Piano Works by Women”, recorded by alumnae of our Academy – pianist and lecturer at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, Dr hab. Anna Rutkowska-Schock, Prof. AMKL, and flutist Ewa Kowalski, graduate of the class of Prof. Jerzy Mrozik.

The album, published by Da Vinci Publishing in Japan, was recorded at Trackdown Studios in Sydney.

We are delighted to inform you that the NFM Girls’ Choir, under the direction of Dr hab. Małgorzata Podzielny, Prof. AMKL, received a Gold Diploma in the category “Children’s and Youth Choirs” as well as a Special Prize for the most interesting performance of a work by a Polish composer at this year’s edition of the National Choral Forum “Wrocław – City of Music”.

MA Jan Surma awarded 1st place in the Personality of the Year 2023 poll in the Culture category, as well as two prizes at the World Artistry Music Award 2024 Season 2.

We are pleased to announce that MA Jan Surma won 1st place in the Personality of the Year 2023 poll in the Culture category in Oleśnica County. This poll honors individuals particularly distinguished in their fields. In the Culture category, the award goes to artists, event organizers, cultural animators, and art promoters who, through their work, enrich the cultural life of the region.

MA Jan Surma also received the Platinum Prize and the Outstanding Technique Special Prize in the Professional category of the World Artistry Music Award 2024 Season 2, for his recording of an organ improvisation (registration: Łukasz Kołakowski) “Variations improvisées sur chanson polonaise de la passion”, performed on 6 March 2024 during the concert “Pierre Cochereau in memoriam.”
