Spirituality in music – music in spirituality. 2nd National Scientific Conference with an international panel

The Department of Music Theory and History of Silesian Music Culture invites you to participate in the second edition of the National Scientific Conference with an international panel entitled Spirituality in Music – Music in Spirituality, which will be held on 8–10 April 2026 at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. The event is interdisciplinary in nature, featuring discussions between music theorists, musicologists, composers, performers, religious scholars, theologians, philosophers and humanists.

The programme includes presentations, panels (including an international panel and a doctoral panel) and a concert.

Applications:
Deadline for abstract submission: 2 January 2026.

The application should include: title of the presentation, abstract (up to 1500 characters), short biography (up to 500 characters).

Information about acceptance will be sent by 30 January 2026.

Fees:
Active participation: PLN 300 (includes lunches, coffee bar and conference materials)
Active participation of AMKL educators: free of charge
Passive participation: free of charge

Fees must be paid by 1 March 2026.
