Since 1 February 2019, the Library has been cooperating with the digital library lending system as part of the ACADEMICA Digital Lending of Scientific Publications project.

ACADEMICA enables scientific and public libraries throughout the country to provide access to several hundred thousand scholarly publications from the collections of the National Library in Warsaw. Thanks to the system of electronic interlibrary loans, library users can gain instant access to contemporary publications from all fields of knowledge—while respecting copyright regulations—via dedicated terminals located in scientific and public libraries across Poland.

The ACADEMICA terminal at the Academy of Music is located at one of the computer stations in the Library Reading Room and is available to readers during Reading Room opening hours.

Due to copyright restrictions, the ACADEMICA system allows access to protected publications to only one user within Poland at any given time, similar to traditional interlibrary loan systems.
