Academic Wind Orchestra
The Academic Wind Orchestra of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław was established in October 2012 on the initiative of Prof. Mieczysław Stachura, Head of the Department of Wind Instruments and Percussion.
The orchestra consists of students from the Instrumental Department and collaborating students from other departments of the Academy. The orchestra's repertoire includes classical, film and popular music. The orchestra is conducted by Dr Piotr Bugaj.
In addition to its own musical projects, the Academic Wind Orchestra also participates in concerts with other ensembles. Examples include joint performances with the Representative Orchestra of the Land Forces in Wrocław, which took place in the Concert Hall of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.
