We invite participants to take part in the First Stage of the Eliminations for the 10th Polish Duo Competition, which will be held on March 4, 2025, at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.
The competition is organized by the Department of Chamber Music of the Academy. Participants may include undergraduate and graduate students of the Academy of Music.
The competition will be held in two categories:

Instrumental Duos (instrument + piano)

Vocal Duos (voice + piano)
Program requirements:
Instrumental duos:

A mandatory first movement of a sonata (or a cyclic work based on sonata form) from the 18th or 19th century.

The remaining pieces must be originally written for the given ensemble.
Vocal duos:
-
Mandatory songs by Stanisław Niewiadomski, Edvard Grieg, Franz Schubert, Gabriel Fauré, and a contemporary song.
Winners of first prizes in previous editions may not compete again in the same category.
