13th Lower Silesian Art Song Competition for Amateur Soloists

The Department of Music Education of the Faculty of Music Education, Choral Studies and Church Music at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, in cooperation with the Lower Silesian Music Society in Wrocław, is pleased to invite participants to the 13th Lower Silesian Art Song Competition for Amateur Soloists.

The competition will take place on 23 May 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Theatre Hall of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, located at pl. Jana Pawła II.

This one-stage competition includes the performance of two solo songs by amateur soloists — pupils from schools and educational institutions in Wrocław and the Lower Silesian region.

The aim of the competition is to popularize the art song genre, foster and deepen musical sensitivity and artistic awareness among children and young people, promote a love for singing, and encourage interest in musical knowledge and culture.

The deadline for submitting completed application forms is 14 May 2025.
