4th National Scientific Conference ‘Working with Children's Choirs’

On 21 November 2025 (in person) and 22–27 November 2025 (online), the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław will host the 4th National Scientific Conference entitled ‘Working with Children’s Choirs’. The conference is organised by the Department of Choral Conducting and the Department of Music Education of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.

The aim of the conference is to deepen knowledge in the field of methodology for conducting children's ensembles, collective voice production, and work on choral repertoire with ensembles from general education schools and music schools.
The conference is open to choral conductors, students and other adults interested in the topics presented. The scientific director of the conference is Dr Małgorzata Podzielny, professor at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music.

The Conference programme consists of speakers' presentations and choir workshops.  The Conference will be held in person on 21 November 2025, and a recording of the proceedings (conference materials) will be available from
22–27 November 2025 for all registered participants (both in-person and those who have chosen to participate online only). All Conference participants will receive a link and login password by 8:00 a.m. on 22 November 2025 at the latest to the e-mail address provided in the application form. Conference materials will be available online from 8:00 a.m. on 22 November 2025 until 11:59 p.m. on 27 November 2025.

The registration fee for in-person participation in the Conference is PLN 230 (the fee includes lunch with all conference participants), and for online participation only – PLN 150. The registration fee for participation in the Conference is covered by the participants or the delegating institutions.

For students and teachers of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, in-person participation (excluding lunch) and online participation in the Conference is free of charge.

Applications for participation in the Conference should be sent electronically using the application form and the registration fees should be paid in the following amounts and by the following dates:
- on-site participants – PLN 230 by 21 October 2025
- online participants – PLN 150 by 15 November 2025
