Ceremonial Promotion of Doctors and Habilitated Doctors of Art of Wrocław’s Art Universities 2025

05.05.2025On May 5, 2025, in the Leopoldine Hall of the University of Wrocław, a Ceremonial Promotion of Doctors and Habilitated Doctors of Art from Wrocław’s art universities took place.
Doctoral diplomas in the discipline of Musical Arts were awarded to:

The ceremony was enriched by a performance of a talented student from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław – Paweł Szlachta, countertenor, accompanied on piano by Aleksandra Orłukowicz.
The artists presented Stephano’s aria “Que fais-tu, blanche tourterelle” from Romeo et Juliette by Charles Gounod, Liebestreu (Faithful Love) from Six Songs by Johannes Brahms, and Arsace’s aria “Ah! Quel giorno ognor rammento” from Semiramide by Gioacchino Rossini.
The event’s musical setting was completed by the Chamber Choir of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, conducted by Kacper Kubiak.
