"In the written part of my doctoral dissertation, I address the performance and interpretation aspects of selected works by the American composer. These works have been recorded in my artistic work, which is a CD. The artistic work and its description constitute one of the first Polish works to address the work of the American composer Lowell Liebermann, born in 1961. The recorded repertoire includes the most significant pieces, selected from the composer's extensive oeuvre."

Artistic achievements:

• representative of Poland at the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw (2021), 
• winner of many piano competitions, including:
• 4th prize at the 50th National Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition (Warsaw 2020);
• 2nd prize at the 11th International Competition for Young Pianists Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam (Bydgoszcz 2017);
• two-time scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2014, 2019);
• extensive concert activity in Poland and abroad, performances in many prestigious concert halls, such as: the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine in Kyiv, the Lviv Philharmonic, the Opole Philharmonic, the Gorzów Philharmonic;
• author of the debut album Schubert-Chopin-Tomasz Marut (F. Liszt Society 2021) and the album Liszt-Chopin-Tomasz Marut (F. Liszt Society 2022).
