The European Commission's priority related to the creation of Creative Europe – Cultural and Creative Higher Education (CCHE) plays a key role in activities related to adapting to cultural changes taking place in Europe and beyond. The most important activities in the process of creating CCHE involve the involvement of music academy management in creating one of the priorities of the European Music Council (EMU), namely the European Agenda for Music, which means:

  • stimulating musical creativity and innovation
  • expanding opportunities for the transfer of European repertoire and the mobility of artists in Europe
  • ensuring access to music education for all
  • strengthening the social role of music and its recognition in societies and public life
  • supporting musical diversity and initiatives that integrate diverse contemporary musical styles and genres, which are
  • playing an increasingly important role in the curricula of music colleges
  • exploring how they can be used to shape new audiences
  • involving students and young graduates to a much greater extent in the creation of such programmes.
