The Chamber Music Chair brings together chamber pianists, known as accompanists. They are employed in the Instrumental and Vocal Departments. Chamber pianists conduct classes such as working with a pianist, during which they partner with instrumental students, or as vocal coaches. In both cases, they actively participate in classes conducted by teachers of the main subject. As independent employees, members of the Department also teach subjects related to their specialisation included in the curricula of both departments. At the Instrumental Department, these include chamber ensembles with piano students and students of other specialisations. The second subject for pianists is learning accompaniment with sight-reading. Employees of other departments of the Instrumental Department are also invited to cooperate with the Chamber Music Chair, teaching classes in chamber ensemble.  Members of the Chamber Music Chair participate in most of the university's concerts, performing both with students during diploma recitals and concerts of other chairs and classes of main subject teachers.

Members of the Chamber Music Chair participate in most university concerts, performing both with students during diploma recitals and concerts of other chairs and classes of main subject teachers. The teachers themselves often take part in the presentations. These performances take place in the Concert Hall of our Academy, on various stages in Wrocław, as well as in many cities across our country, and often abroad. A large number of concerts are organised independently by the Chamber Music Chair or in cooperation with other chairs or departments of the University.

Members of the Chamber Music Chair also conduct independent concert activities, participating in numerous concerts during festivals in Poland and abroad. Some of them have recorded albums. As employees of the University, they are actively involved in scientific and teaching activities. As part of the work of the Chamber Music Chair, masterclasses in piano chamber music are held, to which outstanding chamber musicians and teachers are invited. Scientific development is complemented by thematic scientific sessions, symposia and conferences organised as part of the Chair's work, often in cooperation with other chairs. The high professionalism of our academic and teaching staff is evidenced by numerous invitations to participate and collaborate in music competition juries, academic sessions and conferences organised not only in Poland but also abroad. Many members of the Chair of Chamber Music are improving their qualifications by advancing to the degree of doctor, habilitated doctor and professor. The Chair of Chamber Music can boast a multitude of awards won in competitions by students of chamber music teachers of various specialisations.

A serious task of chamber pianists is to accompany students during their performances at auditions, competitions and other artistic events. On many occasions, these teachers, partnering with students, have contributed significantly with their creativity and artistic input to the achievement of honourable, top places and awards in many competitions.

Undoubtedly, the Chair of Chamber Music has made a significant contribution to shaping the artistic image of our University. Its special role consists, among other things, in integrating our community, as it is the specific nature of this Chair that best embodies the idea of cooperation between performers of different specialisations in creating joint musical works.
