250 PLNVocal courses are events intended for young singers—graduates and students of higher music education institutions in Poland and abroad, as well as students of upper secondary music schools. These events are designed for participants with varying levels of vocal and musical proficiency.
The 50th Course in the Interpretation of Oratorio and Cantata Music is intended for advanced participants and will take place from 28 August to 6 September 2026. It will be preceded by a three-day practical workshop session with Marta Niedźwiecka and Piotr Łykowski, scheduled for 27–29 June 2026. During the June session, participants will work on selected excerpts of the repertoire specified by the organizers. The participation fee for the Course is PLN 250.
This year's mandatory repertoire will consist of the following cantatas by Louis-Nicolas Clérambault: Médée, Le Triomphe de la Paix, Le Jaloux, and Poliphême. The works will be performed at a pitch standard of A = 415 Hz. The Course faculty will include Agata Chodorek, Olga Ksenicz, Marta Niedźwiecka, Anna Werecka-Gryć, Piotr Łykowski, and Bogdan Makal.
The Course's final concerts—accompanied by a chamber ensemble under the direction of Marta Niedźwiecka—will take place on 5 September (in one of the towns of Lower Silesia) and on 6 September at the NFM during the 61st International Wratislavia Cantans Festival named after Andrzej Markowski.
We encourage you to read the regulations and complete the application form.
